He now is 45 lbs and 45 inches tall... and "In perfect health!"

Derrick now is a perfectly healthy, typical little boy who absolutely loves
kindergarten. Besides school, some of his favorite things include: listening
to the "Car Guys" on NPR's Car Talk show; helping to drive to the end of the
ride; raising monarch butterflies; riding his bike; watching The Rugrats and
learning how things work.

That inquisitiveness is one of his prevailing personality traits, along with
being bright, helpful, independent and probably more neat and tidy than
other boys his age.
