Katie & Danny (Sister & Brother)
Katie -- Born: January 11, 1991
Gestation: 30 weeks
3 lbs 12oz
 
Katie isn't a kid anymore! She is a high school freshman who plays volleyball on the junior varsity team (varsity next year for sure!) and is a member of the high school band, where she plans flute. Her mom, says she is a bonafide "band geek. 

When she and the band takes the field or marches by in a parade it brings tears of pride to our eyes."

Although now very busy with high school, Katie still is finds time to do what she can to help the March of Dimes. She and her younger brother, preemie Danny, have several years under their belts as ambassadors for MoDimes and continue to walk with the Preemie Stars (the same walk team including 'Little Thumbs Up!" author Tim Smith's daughter.

Danny -- Born: November 9, 1993 Gestation: 33 weeks

Speaking of Danny, he is a middle schooler who plays saxophone, ice hockey and basketball and still had time to do enough good things to be inducted into the National Jr. Honor Society.
